SOLSTUS (Surviving Overdose Loss Sanely Through Unity & Support) is for people grieving the overdose loss of a loved one. This group is facilitated by Mountain Valley Hospice & Palliative Care, with support from the Addiction Recovery Care Association.
SOLSTUS offers the opportunity to:
Talk about your loss in a confidential, nonjudgemental environment
Discover resources to enable you to face and conquer the challenges of grief
Learn ways to cope and care for yourself
Develop a support system of peers sharing similar grief and loss
SOLSTUS meets at 6:30 p.m., the 2nd Wednesday of each month. To RSVP or learn more info, please call Selene Teague, Access Account Manager, at 1-888-789-2922.
Mountain Valley Hospice’s grief support groups are open to the community at large, at no cost to the individual. Additional bereavement services, including one-on-one counseling, are also available upon request.
