Holidays Observed

Mountain Valley Hospice & Palliative Care’s offices are closed in observance of the following holidays:

• New Years Day (January 1st)
• Memorial Day (Last Monday in May)
• Independence Day (July 4th)
• Labor Day (First Monday in September)
• Thanksgiving (Fourth Thursday in November)
• Christmas Day (December 25th)

The holidays are observed on the days set forth above; provided, however:

1. If an employee desires time off to observe a religious holiday which is not an observed holiday of the Organization, the employee may request paid or unpaid special leave of absence for that day.
2. At the IPU, holidays are observed on the actual holiday.
3. At the Re-Sale Shoppe, holiday closings will follow the office closing schedule but may be adjusted based on the day of the week the holiday falls on, and business needs.
4. Holidays observed may be changed at the discretion of the Executive Director. Timely notice will be provided should any changes occur.
