Mountain Valley Hospice is continuously working hard to offer uniform resources for our staff. On this page, you’ll find information on different avenues to go when looking for uniform options.
Embroidery needs to be from a vendor on the approved list below. They have the correct logo file and know the colors to be used. Having garments embroidered anywhere other than approved vendors is against agency policy. These vendors are approved because they have met the strict criteria required.
Uniform Vendors
Shopping here allows you to choose garments that you know are consistent with the uniform policy. The colors are pre-approved and you don’t have to make decisions on the embroidery. It is done for you.
You will find many choices with the MVHPC logo. Please enjoy the simplicity of shopping in one location. Items will be delivered to the Mount Airy location and distributed from there. Items will be payroll deducted for Full-Time employees. PRN staff must make arrangements for payment and pick-up with the Human Resources Department.
Employee Uniform Buy Back Program
The goal of the Buy Back Program is to offer uniforms that are gently used to incoming staff or current staff and a reduced rate. While keeping our branded name from the general public.
Uniforms will be purchased from leaving staff or staff that no longer need/want them. MVHPC will pay $5 each for tops and $5 each for bottoms. This is for scrubs and other MVHPC embroidered clothing items.
Managers of departing employees and/or Human Resources can help you with your sell back process. Manager or HR will fill out a check request for the employee and submit to Accounts Payable. Accounts Payable will then expedite cutting a check on the next available check write.
Managers/HR have the right to not accept an item if they are worn, stained or not appropriate for resale.
The gently used uniforms will be available for purchase at the Mountain Valley Hospice Re-Sale Shoppe for $5 for tops or $5 for bottoms. You will have to ask the ReSale Shoppe staff to see the uniforms. They are kept in the back for staff to purchase only.
