(Mount Airy, NC) Mountain Valley Hospice & Palliative Care is hosting their first July Jam on Saturday, July 29, from 7 to 10 p.m. Performers scheduled to appear include: Nashville star and Pilot Mountain native Emily Kate; Winston-Salem's Martha Bassett; and Surry County's own Mickey Galyean and Cullen's Bridge. All proceeds will go to support Mountain Valley Hospice programs and services.

"We want to reach out to as many folks as possible to let them know who we are and what we do for terminally-ill patients and their families. July Jam is a great way to do that," said Brett Willis, Director of Development for Mountain Valley Hospice.

Tickets are $30 in advance, $35 at the door. Admission includes a BBQ dinner, a glass of wine, and outstanding live entertainment.

Seating is limited to 175, so tickets will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis.

July Jam will be held at The FarmHouse Siloam, 2738 Siloam Road, in Mount Airy.
